From 18 August 2007 till 2 September 2007, Nations from Australia, Japan, Italy and Malaysia will be competing in the Malaysia International Fireworks Competition (MIFC) for the Merdeka trophy.(loosely translated as the Trophy of Independence) This shot was taken on Wednesday, which was the day when Team Australia competing.

I love firewoks, and Madeira Island, where I was born, won recognition at the Guinness Book for its 2006/2007 New Year’s Eve pyrotechnic exhibition: 17 tons of fireworks, thousands of detonations for more than 8 minutes over an area of 6 km by 2.7 km... Great!
