Twin Towers
I took this shot few months ago - the Petronas Twin Towers which were once the world tallest building from 1998-2004. It would be more beautiful if all the lights had been turned on. I was wondering why the light on the lower part of the building hadn't been switched on. I think it's a good thing because it will prevent the wastage of energy which will reduce the emission of carbon dioxide.
What do you normally do in your daily life in order to save the environment from becoming more and more polluted?

Wow! What a beautiful shot. The lighting is perfect.
Beautiful night shot!
Hey, this looks like the view I had from my room at the Mandarin Oriental, KL... Were you inside?
GMG: Really? Well, I was standing at the pathway between convention centre and the twin towers. Not in the hotel. :P When was your last visit to KL?
Awesome photo!
How do I save the environment? I try to recycle all the glass, plastic and paper materials from the apartment. I use public transportation. Not a lot I'm afraid.
Help the enviornment? Well, right now I don't have a car, so I'm using public transportation & I don't buy bottled water.
The plastic bottles use petroleum to produce & are generally not recycled.
Oh, those Petronas, you either love'em or hate'em...
The answer to your question: I cook from scratch (no pre-made, processed ingredients), prefer glass to plastic (actually, I hate plastic), drive as little as possible, walk/bike as much as possible, turn lights off when I leave a room, recycle, read news online, don't buy magazines, and the list goes on...
I'll usually turn off the lights which are left on unattended to.
This has always been a favorite photo subject to look at of mine. I've seen many photos of it, I always enjoy them.
As for saving the environment, what do I do....the honest answer, I don't do anything different today than I've done in the past.
Hi Emily,
gorgeous photo! I usually turn off lights if i'm not in a room and i recycle although i'm not as consistent with it as i should be.
Petronas tower... Did you know they are enlighted by an Italian company?
To answer to your question: I do recyclable-waste collection, prefer glass to plastic, switch off lights at home, don't leave in stand-by electronic devices... Not too much I know :-(
no longer the tallest, but it's still the tallest twin buildings right?
the taller ones nowadays only have 1 building.
good things comes in pairs yah? hehe...
my home use only energy saving lamps.
