The neglected place

pulau pinang
What do you think when you first saw this picture?

"Geez.. What an old tailoring shop.. Who wanna come here and have their clothes done?"

Yeah. You might be right. As the time goes by, many things will be slowly disappearing as they are not that important to be paid attention on. Just like this little tailoring shop.

Perhaps we should pay more attention and see things differently. Perhaps we should use more of our time to see the world; may be in the end of the day, you will get something which is unexpected than you think it might be.

I hope I will be an good observant. Do you?

"Interesting!" That's what I thought when I saw this picture. Actually, I love old shops. This one isn't particularly attractive or quaint, but it's got its own character, I think.

Yeah, we should pay more attention to things that really matter.

Hi Emily Lin - thanks for visiting my Quincy blog. I like your photos and the question you pose in this posting. We all tend to overlook the important things in life and take them for granted.

I am not sure if it is a tailor shop but that's what I thought when I saw the picture. Nice shot and good question.

As I looked at the picture of the shop,I immideately thought,"An interesting picture!"I've always enjoyed to see old shops because you see,I have an eye on antiques like my dad.

I guess having an eye on antiques makes me much more observant because the small details on antiques need a really observant eye.So I guess I am an observant person.

In NYC, places like this are great to send your clothes for alterations. They usually do a good job and are cheaper than the departmental stores.

Nice shot - I love these little old stores, too.

That shop has probably been witness to many slices of people's lives: a crying child with her hunching grandmother, a loving couple, laughing school children in uniforms... the list goes on. Indeed I think it's an old world charm that is testimonial to our lives and times. It's a real gem of a photo. Kudos.

This is an excellent photo and it really drawers the viewer in to the scene. Nice job!
