Spinning and spinning
It's a water spinning machine at a pond in Semenyih, a small town near Kajang. I've never tried fishing before and so I have no experiece with it. Seeing the guys setting up the tools for fishing, I was curiosly asking questions about this and that. In the end, no one answered my questions. -_-"
More photo about this trip to fish pond, tomorrow. I'm really exhausted now after back from working. Standing 12 hours is not an good idea. Not a good idea!!!

The famous food in Kajang
This is called Satay. It's consisting chunks of meats (chicken, beef, lamb & etc) on bamboo skewers, which are barbecued over a charcoal fire, then served with its special seasoning. In Kajang, It may be served with a spicy peanut sauce dip, or peanut gravy, slivers of onions and cucumbers, and ketupat. Kajang is famous because of that.
The photo was taken during me eating satay couple days before. The old uncle was grilling the satay with fully concentration. He knew I was taking his picture, but just look at me without saying anything. He's cool! :)

The shape of the heart
The sky was amazingly beautiful right before I took this shot. If you could notice from the photo, there's something unusual with the colour of the sky. Tomorrow, I'll show you the closer and clearer shot of the sky, and till then, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's rare.
p/s: I'll start working tomorrow, as a part timer in a bookfair. So DP mates, I'll reply your comments later. Till then :)

It was 6.52a.m.
I woke up really early yesterday for preparing my last paper. I was hungry and so I got out of my room, headed to pantry to get some hot water for my drinks. As I walking down the stairs, I looked to the left, spotting the unusual colour of the sky. It has been some time since the last time I saw any sunrise. Well, it's almost sunrise as you can see from the photo. But I was too lazy to stand there waiting for the sun to rise and ignoring my test. So here it is, the picture of the sky before sunrise.
It's 6.52a.m. before sunrise. So, what time will the sun rise in your city? Do you wake up so early?

Chinese temple
Another shot in the Shi Na Tok Temple. The small area with a roof top is the typical look of the resting area in temples. Actually the structure of the whole temple is much more the same idea. Well, you know, with the sculpture of dragon, flaming-like design on the edge of the building and etc. I've been standing there for 5 minutes without moving, and feeling amazed with the structure of temple. The sun was shining dazzlingly. It was a wonderful day, indeed.
I wonder should I post another photo of arc which's different from the previous post. What do you think? You guys must be bored of these, right?
Anyway, have a nice week ahead! It's Monday! :)
p/s: Notice that I've changed my blog's name to Kajang (Malaysia) Daily Photo. I'll be mainly posting photos taken in my city - Kajang. By the way, would you guys mind if I posted photos of Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur occationally [as well as other places in Malaysia] as I'm travelling around on a weekly basis? Please leave some helpful comments and advices. Thanks! :)

Temple
The photo I posted yesterday was taken at this temple. We called it "Shi Na Tok Temple", as shown on the arc. The temple is situated at Semenyih.(one of the town in Hulu Langat district.) There are some sculpture in the temple, and I've snapped some photos of them. I'll be posting them these couple of days, perharps. Should I? Anyway, I went there on last week after having a trip at Sungai Tekala (Tekala River), in Semenyih.
So, do you have this kind of temple in your city? Have you ever been to temple?

Dragon? Sea turtle?
Frankly speaking, I have no idea what was that. Its head looks like a dragon's head. But its body looks like it belongs to the sea turtle. Perharps I should stop thinking and guessing on what is it, I should think about how am I suppose to "drag" the gold and pearls from the back of it.
Me: "Hey Mr. Turtle-Dragon*, please please gimme some of them!"
Mr. Turtle-Dragon*: "Haha. You stupid girl. You thought these are real??!"
Me: -_-""
Sorry guys, I've had gone quite crazy after having 2 exams just now. Excuse the random topic :p

For Kajang Police Station, please call 03-87362222.
This is the police station situated in Kajang, my hometown. I bet this is the typical look of police station in Malaysia. Blue and white in colour. Of course there's a different in size of the building. Police station back in Kuala Lumpur would be much bigger, and maybe much better looking.
As you can see from the board there, it says "Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah". "Ibu Pejabat" is literally translated as the headquaters, "polis" is the malay pronounciation of police, whereas "daerah" is carrying the meaning of district. So it's District Police Headquarters in English. Hope you've learnt something today :)
By the way, our Royal Malaysian Police's motto is "Mesra, Cepat, & Betul" which means Friendly, Fast, and Correct.
But I think we as a Malaysian, we prefer the previous motto which is "Bersih, Cekap & Amanah" because we need it badly. This is literally translated as Clean, Proficient and Trustworthy. Well, better not to say too much here. All I can say is corruption still happens these day.

That sky, that building.
I was on my way to the campus because I'll be having an exam later. And I saw this, the combination of the blue sky and the quirky building were just nice. While my one hand was holding the steering, another hand of mine grapped the camera quickly without doubting it might be caused an accident. Well, anyway there was no car behind me on that moment, so don't worry :p
This building is an empty building in Cyberjaya which has been left over by the company.
Having my final exam later. Wish me luck :D
Or at least wish me not going to screw this up. Till then.

Sunset
I got to admit that this photo was actually taken during my trip to Perhentian Island in Terengganu (one of the state in Malaysia), last year. Please forgive me for posting photo which's originally taken from different city. You see, I'm staying in Kajang (one of the city in Selangor state), but I'll be staying in Cyberjaya (another city) too during my school days, so this is tough for me to choose which city photo I want to post. Instead of choosing a city, I named my blog as "Malaysia Daily Photo", so I'll be posting photos taken in Malaysia, not only restrict to one city. Hope you guys wouldn't mind. Would you?
I was looking at the sun slowly faded out, and sank into the sea. The guys had just got back from fishing, I thought so. Wonderful holiday. You guys should really check out Perhentian Island. It's a great place to relax.
It's heavenly.

The weather is hot and I want it
What is this? This is Iced Kacang (Kacang is a Malay word for bean) or known as ABC (Ais Batu Campur), a kind of dessert served in Malaysia. It contains shaved ice, red beans, sweet corn, chendol, grass jelly and some other dressing. Besides, evaporated milk is drizzled over the mountain of ice. You may think it looks nothing special but I've got to say it's very tasty and provides a "cooling effect" for me in this hot weather.
How is the weather in your city? What would you eat in order to keep you warm if it's cold? And what would you eat in order to cool you down if the weather is hot until you can't sit still?

Stall lady
This is a typical look of Malay food stall in Malaysia. The photo was taken in the housing area of Kajang, which's near my house. I think they sell "nasi lemak"(a type of malay delicacies which consist of rice and chili, literally translated as "rice in fat") and also some other kuih-muih (Asian concept of "cakes" and "pastries" which are more often steamed than baked, so it's different in texture, apperance and taste from Western cake and pastries.). The lil' food stall is situated right beside the road, so people will just park their car beside the road. But it won't cause any traffic jam because there aren't much car passing by anyway.
Tomorrow I'll show you guys what I ate there. It's something nice to eat during this extremely hot weather. (Hint: It's iced cold but it's whole lot different from icecream.)

Blossom
As I promised yesterday, here's another up close of lotus. It's blossoming when I took this photo few days ago. But now, its petal flower has fallen off. Well, it just like life isn't it? Life's come, life's gone. We can't predict what will be happened next seconds. So, do cherish every moment that we've got before it's too late.
p/s: Today is Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to all the mother in the world. Give a hug to your mum and tell her:"I love you." Would you?

Wavy lighting
Here's the night view of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre - the premiere convention and exhibition centre in Kuala Lumpur, which situated right beside of the Petronas Twin Tower. The lighting and lambency of the building was so beautiful. I stood there for nearly 10 minutes looking at the building. Excuse of the blurry view, because I was using a digital cam and it was taken with freehand.

The Great Mighty
This picture was taken in Batu Cave, situated in Gombak district, at the north of Kuala Lumpur. It has a series of caves and cave temples. Well, as you can see from this picture, it is the 42.7m high statue of Lord Murugan which was just unveiled last year. It's certainly a must-visit place when you're visiting KL. As I mentioned above, there are cave temples and caves on the limestone hill. In order to get up there, you have to climb exacly 272 steps to access the temple and take a glance over the caves. For your information, Batu Cave serves as the central of Hindu community's yearly celebration - Thaipusam festival. I've been there for duty as a member of Red Crescent Society (known as Red Cross in other countries) for Thaipusam festival 3 months ago. Awesome is what I can say about the festival. The view in the cave is really nice too. This picture was taken after Thaipusam festival, so basically there weren't much people walking up the stairs.

Couple
I was wandering around the park in front of the Suria Kuala Lumpur City Center (Suria KLCC) and this couple had caught my eyes. Imagine how lovely it is if you are sitting beside your loved ones, leaning on him/her, and doing nothing but just enjoying the night view of the fountain?
Shhh... let's stop bothering them. Anyway, hope you guys have a nice day with your loved ones =D

Kenderaan ringan sahaja
For those who doesn't read Malay, you might be wondering what is the meaning of that sentences. Well, it's basically translated as "Light Vehicle Only". The 5T numbering above the words I guess it means the vehicle's weight must be less than 5 tons? So technically the vehicle which is more than 5 tons will not be seen on this road. But, when I turned my head after the picture was taken, a huge lorry was just passing by. So I guess the signboard is useless. Nothing's gonna change. Anyway, I took this in Kajang and I thought it looked really old-ish. I think it has been existed since I was born. Literally.

Old tree
It's an old looking tree in Kajang. My sister was driving when I saw this tree and I asked her to stop the car. Like immediately. I took out the DSLR but heck, I couldn't take any picture because the memory card has been locked. I looked at my sis, and that impish smile crossed her lips - obviously it was her who has caused the stupid dysfunction of the camera. So I took out the compact digital camera [duh] and shot this old-looking tree. I think it gonna fall down anytime soon because it has already desiccated. So, you better watch out, passer-by.

He's looking at me
Well I was crossing the road to walk myself into KLCC. And I was holding my camera attempting to shoot some nice pictures. But god I've failed. And I've tried to get rid of the guy during shooting but I was standing in the middle of the road, risking myself for trying to get some so called awesome pictures, so I had to press the shutter as fast as I could. Funny thing was he looked so alert when I was pressing down the shutter.
