The weather is hot and I want it

What is this? This is Iced Kacang (Kacang is a Malay word for bean) or known as ABC (Ais Batu Campur), a kind of dessert served in Malaysia. It contains shaved ice, red beans, sweet corn, chendol, grass jelly and some other dressing. Besides, evaporated milk is drizzled over the mountain of ice. You may think it looks nothing special but I've got to say it's very tasty and provides a "cooling effect" for me in this hot weather.

How is the weather in your city? What would you eat in order to keep you warm if it's cold? And what would you eat in order to cool you down if the weather is hot until you can't sit still?

I know what you mean this time e. l.
Here in Central Portugal (and right across Spain, the Mediterranean and through to the Mid-East) the temps are heading up this week now. But nice & manageable at the moment. It looks like it could be unbearable pretty soon - too soon, like last Spring. OK if you have the beach outside the door. Or trees. We have neither in this particular town, but it's only 30 kms upriver from the coast.
